A double murder has disturbed the community of Noida. Aarushi Talwar is the 14 year old girl who was found dead in her home on May 16, 2008. On the very next morning, a family servant, Hermaj, was found dead on the roof. The autopsies reveal that both Aarushi and Hermaj were struck by a blunt object, then had their throats slit by a knife. Police investigation has led to the arrest of Dr. Rajesh Talwar, Aarushi’s father. Rajesh is suspected of having murdered his daughter and their family servant in the same night. A lie detector test has been used on Rajesh, and the results are still pending. CBI, Central Bureau of Investigation, have not ruled out the possibility of more suspects and believe there may have been multiple people involved. The murder weapons have yet to be found and the case is still ongoing.

A love triangle between a producer, an actress, and a naval engineer ends in murder

Neeraj Grover was the associate producer of a televised quiz show, Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain. He went missing on May 7th and could not be traced for four days until his father, Amarnath, went searching for him. Phone calls to Neeraj’s cell phone helped to link actress, Maria Monica Susairaj, to the missing case when she was found in possession of the phone. The 27 year old Kannada actress confessed to the murder of Grover after police interrogated her. She revealed that she, along with her long time boyfriend, Jerome Matthew, an engineer in the Indian Navy, had chopped Grover’s body into pieces and dumped the remains into a jungle. Apparently, Grover had been staying the night at Susairaj’s house before the incident occurred. When Matthew learned of this, he arrived at the house the next morning. An altercation occurred and Matthew stabbed Grover with a kitchen knife, killing him. The police suspect there is more to the story and are still investigating this case.
