Missy Margera was born June 3rd, 1980 as Melissa Rothstein in Springfield, Pennsylvania. Missy peruses a career as a professional model and photographer as well as being married to MTV’s stuntman Bam Margera, which is where she achieved fame. Her husband, Bam Margera, is a professional skateboarder and a TV personality known for his stuntman, jokester personality. Missy received her bachelor’s degree from Penn State University with a major in Communications. Bam Margera was her high school sweetheart from West Chester East High School in Pennsylvania. The couple met in elementary school, but did not date seriously until much later on. They had re-met on the set of one of Bam’s movies Haggard. The couple dated briefly, but broke up when Bam reconciled with his ex-girlfriend Jenn Rivell. With Missy left heartbroken, they didn’t speak for almost two years. Then they happened to run into each other, both being single, and sparks flew. The couple started dating again. They moved in together after three months of dating and were engaged seven months later. The couple married on February 3, 2007 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Loews Hotel. There marriage was televised as the grand finale of an MTV reality show, Bam’s Unholy Union. Bam’s Unholy Union documented the weeks leading up to the couple’s unorthodox marriage. During the filming of the show, Playboy had contacted Missy for a nude photo shoot. The shoot would feature Bam, her future husband, as a guest photographer. Bam begged Missy to do the shoot as a sort of wedding present. Missy reluctantly obliged, which furthered her celebrity. The shoot was themed in the Gothic theme of the Bam household. She was featured in the celebrity section of Playboy in 2007.
